For normal paracontact metric manifolds, pseudosymmetric cases are investigated and some interesting results are obtained. We show that a semisymmetric normal paracontact manifold is of constant sectional curvature. We also obtain that a pseudosymmetric normal paracontact metric manifold is an η -Einstein manifold.
