In this respect, oil is one of the most important game changing factors that affect international relations. While industrialized countries have poor oil fields, less industrialized countries have rich oil fields. Therefore, there are conflicts in various ways between the two sides. Venezuela is the country with the most oil reserves in the world. However, since it could not complete the industrialization process, it has become the playground of the imperial countries and has had various experiences throughout the history. She has not been able to establish a production economy and instead has a fragile structure with her raw material economy. This vulnerability has not given her the flexibility she desires in both domestic and foreign politics. With the arrival of Hugo Chavez in power, Venezuela started to pursue socialist policies and opposed the USA in the international arena. He established alliances with other anti-US countries and used oil revenues for this purpose. However, under Maduro, who continued his policies after Chávez, the country entered the great economic crisis with the effect of falling oil revenues and lost its former speed in foreign policy. The Maduro government is working hard to correct the destabilized social and economic situation. Venezuela is a very good example in terms of assessing the impact of the reserve of oil and how it is used to direct international politics.trVenezuelaUluslararası İlişkilerSiyasi CoğrafyaVenezuela enerji politikalarının uluslararası siyasete etkisiThe effect of Venezuela energy policies on international politicsmasterThesis
