Teker, NecmettinBedel, Yıldızay2022-03-312022-03-312006http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12575/78158The objective of this reseaech is to evalvate the effectiveness of academicaladvisory and face education services(stil warking in our counttry) of the vocationalopen education curriculum at the open education high school by applyrng toteachers? and students? apinions.In this research.the screening method was used.2763 students benefited fromthese services and teachers giving these services in their schools were the universeof the research.In the research.600 students were used as sample but teachers werenot used as sample and all of the study universe was accepted as sample.The questionaires were applied between 25 th May 2006 and 20 th June 2006.The students? questionaire with the personal information part was formed as37 items and the teachers? questionaire was formed as 36 items.The questionaireswere presented to the specialists and with their criticisms,it was given the latest formto the data collection instrument.The collected data was tried to interprete with the using of the frekans(f)analysis technique and the percentile norms(%).In appeaning the conceptions about the effectiveness of the services takingparts in students?and teachers? questionaires,the test ?t? was used.?IndependentSamples T Test ? and `?ANOVA?? was used to understand if there were differences ornot according to students?sexuality,school,age or marital status while they weregiving their opinions.Items which significance levels were at a=0,05 were shown atthe table.When the students? positions in the research are summarized in general,wecan see that most of the students are working and their ages are between 21 and 25and they are also unmarried.Male-students? and female- students? numbers arealmost equal.When we summarize the teachers?position,we can see that 78,3 % ofthem are male and 65,9 % of them have been working for 10-15 years(or over) and92,5 % of them ar emare than 30 years old.This ressearch has showed us that the students of the open education highschoolfind the academical advisory and face to face education services effective.
