The expected workload for 18 MV x-rays is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, 20 patients per 8 hours and the value of absorbed dose at isocenter for each patient is 3 Gy. It is anticipated that an additional 30 patients per day will be treated with 6 MV x-rays to the same absorbed dose. P (shielding design goal) is taken (0,02 mSv/week) 20x10^(-6) Sv/week for uncontrolled areas and (0,1 mSv / week) 0,1x10^(-3) Sv / week for controlled areas. As a result of the calculations made, it has seen that the device is appropriately shielded and the measurements taken outside of the room are at the acceptable levels.trDoğrusal ivmeNCRP?151 raporuDoğrusal ivmelendirici cihazlarının NCRP?151 raporuna göre zırhlanmasıShielding linear accelerator devices according to NCRP?151 reportmasterThesis
