One of the qualitative methods, ?situation study?design based on analyzing one or more situation within its limits (situation,time, etc.) with a descriptive and holistic approach was used. The populationof the study is 178 I-VI grade students taking Turkish and Turkish culturecourses and also 76 Turkish origin children from three different elementaryschools in Anvers. Turkish origin children can be said to represent Turkishorigin children at I-VI grades in Anvers province of Belgian Flamish Region.In the study, first of all, the educational system of Flamish Region in Belgiumwas described and then the position of Turkish origin children in the systemwas defined. Then the data gathered by means of questionnarie based onopinions of teachers of Turkish and Turkish Culture course, andcommunication and adaptation problems of Turkish origin children weremanifested. In the framework of the problems defined in the study, Turkishlanguage and Turkish culture courses in Anvers province were examined,these courses and drama/theatre activities carried out in the selectedschools are stated with curriculum and practical dimensions. The findingsshow that the drama/theatre and culturel activities in Flamish Region schoolsare insufficient on account of some practices towards communication abilitiesand adaptation processes of I-VI grade Turkish origin students.
