Birinci bölümde, Karl Marx'ın "yabancılaşma" kavramı ile Louis Althusser'in "devletin ideolojik aygıtları ve baskıcı devlet aygıtı" kavramları arasında karşılıklı bir diyalog kurularak kuramsal bir çerçeve oluşturulması amaçlanmaktadır. Birinci bölüm, kapitalist toplumda yabancılaşmayı ve yabancılaşmanın devlet aygıtları tarafından yeniden üretilme sürecini analiz etmektedir. İkinci bölüm, Lear'da proletarya ve burjuvazinin yabancılaşmanın sonucu olan çelişkili varoluşlarını incelemektedir. Bu bölüm, burjuvazinin devlet aygıtlarını kullanarak proletaryayı egemenlik altına alması ve üretim ilişkilerini yeniden üreterek sınıflı toplumun çelişkili işleyişini devam ettirmesini analiz etmektedir. Ayrıca, proletaryanın gücü ele geçirmek için egemen sınıfa karşı başlattığı sınıf mücadelesini incelemektedir. Üçüncü bölüm The Bundle'da proletarya ve egemen sınıfın yabancılaşmanın sonucu olan çelişkili varoluşlarının nasıl sergilendiğini analiz etmektedir. Egemen sınıfın devlet aygıtlarını kullanarak proletaryayı kontrol etmesi ve üretim ilişkilerini yeniden üreterek sınıflı toplumun çelişkili işleyişini devam ettirmesini incelemektedir. Bu bölüm proletaryanın sistemi ortadan kaldırmak ve sınıfsız bir toplum yaratmak için egemen sınıfa karşı başlattığı mücadeleyi analiz etmektedir. Sonuç bölümü Bond'un akılcı bir toplum temelinde ortaya koyduğu çözüm önerilerinin belirlenmesine yer vermektedir. Bu bölümde ortaya konan tez, sergilenen çözümün insanın özgür, eşitlikçi, yabancılaşmanın ve çelişkilerin olmadığı akılcı bir toplumda yaşaması gerektiği ve bunun mümkün olması için de işleyişi yeniden üreten devletin ortadan kaldırılması gerektiği şeklindedir. Anahtar Sözcükler: Yabancılaşma, İdeoloji, Devlet Aygıtları, Lear, The Bundle This study seeks to examine how the contradictions of a class-divided society in the capitalist system are defined as irrational and unjust by Edward Bond, and what solutions to these contradictions based on a rational and just society are presented in his plays titled Lear and The Bundle. In Part I, Karl Marx's concept of alienation and Louis Althusser's concepts of ideological state apparatuses and repressive state apparatus are presented to provide a theoretical framework. This part analyses alienation and the reproduction of alienation by state apparatuses in the capitalist society. Part II examines the contradictory existence of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie which is the result of alienation in Lear. This part argues that the bourgeoisie rules the proletariat by using the state apparatuses and reproduces the relations of production, maintaining the reproduction of the contradictory functioning of the class society. This part analyses the class struggle of the proletariat aiming at capturing the power. Part III investigates the contradictory existence of the proletariat and the ruling class which is the result of alienation in The Bundle. Part III also argues that the ruling class rules the proletariat by using the state apparatuses and reproduces the relations of production, maintaining reproduction of the contradictory functioning of the class society. This part examines the class struggle of the proletariat aiming at overthrowing the system and creating a classless society. In the conclusion part, Bond's solutions proposed on the basis of rational society are included. The conclusion part asserts that according to Bond, human being should live in a free, equal and rational society where alienation and the contradictions are overcome. This can be achieved through overthrowing the state reproducing the system.
