In the introduction part, the definition of violence, relationship between people and violence, connection of religion and violence, and finally; violence understanding of religions were emphasized. In the first section, the viewpoint relating to violence of the first Christian community has been tried to tell in the context holy scriptures and historical development of Christianity. In the second section, viewpoint of Christianity over violence has also been mentioned in the middle Ages in the context of some historical events. In the third part, it has been represented how Christianity regards violence at the present day. In the conclusion part, an overall evaluation has been made and the thesis has been completed.The sacret books of Christianity originated in the people who argued for violence and tried to make it legal as well as those who advocated violence. For that reason, sacred texts of Christianity can be regarded as an important source of violence applied by the Christian communities.
