That dictionary has a very large vocabulary regarding the casual life of its century: Textile, sailing, shoemaking etc. and their glossary; tribes and genealogical names; religious facts; medicinal herbs, various illnesses, organs etc. Therefore Mukaddimetü?l-Edeb, has been translated into many languages since it had first written to date. The oldest and the certain date translation of the dictionary that has been written in Harezm Turkish is Yozgat Edition. The handwritten edition is totally 347 sheets and prepared by İbrahim b. Mahmud Sufi el-Müezzin near Semerkand-Buhara on 27 May 1257 (=10 Cemadilevvel 655).
