The content analysis technique was used in the analysis of child rights. ?Child rights? was taken as the analysis category which within itself was divided into four sub-categories; ?living rights?, ?development rights?, ?protection rights? and ?participation rights? as each sub-category was also evaluated as ?positive? and ?negative? within itself in terms of child rights. Based on the findings of this study, the obtained data was analyzed as followingIn 70 fairy tales it was observed how much and how child rights were included in terms of frequency and percentage. It was observed that a positive expression of child rights was used at a percentage of (%60,58) and a negative expression was used at a percentage of (%39,42). In the tales, mostly the negative use of protection rights were included (%26,58) followed by the positive use of development rights (%21,79) and positive use of protection rights (%18,47) respectively. The expressions with positive uses related to living rights were included at a rate of (%11,25) as expressions related to negative use were included at a rate of (%9,39).
