Zirconium cores are very resistant to crack formation, but chipping and delamination of the veneer ceramic is still problematic. So, the aim of our study is to evaluate the shear bond strengths of zirconia ceramics with varying veneer ceramics with different processing methods and the effect of zirliner and thermal cycling to the shear bond strength. In this study, 80 zirconia cores are prepared from IPS e.max ZirCAD blocks. The veneering ceramics are made with two different processing methods. 40 specimens are veneered with IPS e.max ZirPress and 40 specimes are veneered with IPS e.max Ceram. All of the specimens were divided into eigth groups according to veneer ceramic type, Zirliner application and thermalcycling. Following these procedures, each specimens were loaded with universal testing machine, to evaluate the shear bond strength between zirconia and veneering ceramics. When the bonding strengths were examined, the mean shear bond strength IPS e.max ZirPress groups which was made by using pressing technique was higher than the IPS e.max Ceram which was applied by using layering technique. Zirliner enchances the bond strength of IPS e.max ZirPress but didn?t effect the bond strength of IPS e.max Ceram. The effect of thermocycling on the shear bond strength of the test groups was not statistically significiant.trZirkonyumveneer seramikZirkonyum altyapı üzerine uygulanan farklı veneer seramik tekniklerinin bağlantı kuvvetlerine etkisiThe effect of different veneer ceramic techniques on shear bond strength of zirconium frameworksdoctoralThesis
