And they didn?t want to happen such as complicated incomprehensible things. For that reason they didn?t discriminate the birth rituals with each other, prepared religious ceremonies and strove to please their gods. For the same reason, the Hittites performed sacrificial ceremonies in which the incantations and prayers followed each other, for the Gods and the prosperity of future generations.In this thesis, the topics such as the ritual, the birth and incantation, are treated as a whole part for the parallelism between religion and them, and so it also indicated to the underground gods and the other ones. It is for this that it mentioned the positive and the negative effects of the incantation and the methods of sorcery.The birth rituals was treated into the sorcery rituals in Hittite contexts, and in order to interrogate the birth idea for Hittites and to understand that fact by using the parallel expressions in those texts, it is also mentioned the prayers and themes of mythological- , legal- and prediction texts.trHititHittiteHitit ritüellerimasterThesis
