The relations with Britain were only developed throught the end of 16th century. Only commercial relationns were started between Ottoman-Britain at the beginning, but politcal relations were only established in the second half of 18th century. The relations were formed basically at the time of Britain's invasion to India and set the Britain's political basics to the East for nearly one and half century. Britain were faithfull to Ottaman's in dependance and land unity in order to protect their benefits in the Near East, Medditerranean and India, on the other hand, Ottoman had also help from Britain when they need any help against any enemies who were threathening to the Ottoman's unity. This type of political manner between Ottoman and Britain were continiued until the end of 19 century with a few exceptions. The Ottoman-Britain relations were changed during this three years when the Balkan Crisis occured in 1875-1876. Britain used their traditional politics in order to keep away any dangers or enemies againts any Britain's interest. The Britain's Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, showed this type of political style by refusing the Berlin Memorandum which were prepared by "The League of Three Empires". The "East Questions" showed any phase after the Bulgarian Revolt occured in May 1876. After the surpass of this Revolt, especially the liberals used this Bulgarian Problems for provocation and caused to in increase the "Turkish Opposition" which were occured especially after the Paris Treaty as well as the change of British Foreign Policy.
