In the introduction part, information about the subject, purpose, method and sources of the thesis, as well as Garaudy's life is given. In the first part, the thinker's evaluations on Native African beliefs, Iranian religion Zoroastrianism, Chinese religions Confucianism and Taoism, and Indian religions Hinduism and Buddhism, and in the second part, his information and comments on Judaism and Christianity are presented. The view of the thinker, who became a Muslim while he was a Christian believer, on the religion of Islam is discussed in the third chapter. Finally, in the fourth chapter, Garaudy's interreligious comparisons, his understanding of religion, his general determinations and evaluations, his proposal for a "dialogue of civilizations" based on religion and communication, and his process of accepting Islam are included.
