Throughout the research, review model is used and with literature review, a theoretical frame is created. The concept of aesthetic criticism is studied in the context of the aesthetic theory of Adorno. After Adorno's aesthetic concept is analyzed deeply, theory's basic principles are arranged according to different criteria. These criteria are discussed according to three key elements of music: composer, form and content. The method that is going to be followed while making aesthetic criticism, is modeled, including the comprehensive questions. By using this model, aesthetic criticism of Adnan Saygun's Birinci Senfoni, İlhan Usmanbas's Kareler and Bülent Arel's Stereo Electronic Music No.1 are made. Works are chosen after consulting advisors and professionals, in order to reflect the general style understandings of the composers. The findings that are gained at the end of the research point out that the model that is analyzed is suitable for aesthetic analysis. Moreover, it is also determined that music works can be analyzed with the model that is argued; standards, which are determined after the analysis of Adorno's aesthetic theory, can be used in criticism of music works; and works, when they are evaluated with aesthetic criteria, can display their aesthetic values.trSanat eleştirisiMüzik eğitimiMüzik eğitiminde estetik eleştiri uygulamasına yönelik bir model önerisiA modal proposal for applying aesthetic criticism in music educationdoctoralThesis
