Olhan, EmineYaman, Kemal2022-04-132022-04-132009http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12575/78781In this research, the examining of the legal regulations of EU, member countries and Turkey with respect to refining sludge is aimed in a comparative perspective, the effect of the use of sewage sludge on fertility, variable costs, fixed costs, gross product value, gross profit and net profit in wheat and barley production is aimed. For this purpose, the questionnaire study has been carried out on the agricultural enterprises, 39 of which use and 42 of which do not use. The fertility difference between the groups in term of wheat production was found meaningful in the ratio of 5%, whereas in the barley production the fertility difference between the groups was found meaningless in the ratio of 10%. The income sourced from use of sludge was found 21,43 TL da-1. Since the damage on the environment and ecosystem caused by use of sludge was not considered in this study, this income calculated for only one harvesting period is not worthy of attention. Because the results of several researches have shown the fact that the value of decrease in soil quality is 250-2500 ? (500-5000 TL) by itself in the middle and long term. The size of the damages on human beings, animals and plants arisen from use of sludge cannot be calculated. The researches carried out show that although the refining sludge provides increase in crop in the first years, some toxic elements, which will be released after disintegration of the organic substances in the following years, will bear negative effects on human health.trArıtma tesisi çamurlarıAB-Türkiye politikalarıArıtma tesisi çamurlarının tarımsal amaçlı kullanımında AB-Türkiye politikalarının karşılaştırılmasıThe comparision of EU and Turkey policies in the use of sewage sludge of treatments plants in agriculturedoctoralThesis
