Five isolates were collected from different parts of Ankaraprovince (Campus of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ankara University, Ayaş, Haymana,Yenikent, Yenimahalle, Central Research Institute for Field Crops Experimental Area). For inoculation, sandwich method was used. There were differences among thereactions of the cultivars to the isolates of the fungus. There were also pathogenicitydifferences among the isolates. The cultivars Çumra 2001 and Yerçil 147 were resistantto all five isolates. The cultivars Erginel 90, Orza 96, Çetin 2000 and Aydanhanım weresusceptible to three isolates of the fungus. Isolate Dg3 was the most virulent isolatewhereas isolates Dg4 and Dg5 were low in virulence.2006, 36 pagesKey Words: Barley, barley stripe, Drechslera graminea, Pyrenophora graminea, disease resistanceiitrZiraatBazı arpa çeşitlerinin arpa çizgili yaprak lekesi etmeni drechslera graminea (Rab.)
