Araştırma, doküman incelemeye dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilmiş, verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel analizden yararlanılmıştır. Çocuklara sunulacak masallarda göz önünde bulundurulması gereken ilkeler, "çocuğa görelik" ilkesi kapsamında yapılandırılmış, bu kavramın alt ulamları da alanyazından yola çıkılarak betimlenmiştir. Araştırmaya konu olan masallar konu, karakter, ileti, dil-anlatım ve temel eğitim ilkeleri olmak üzere beş başlıkta ele alınmıştır. Çözümlemeler yoluyla elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda ise şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: Araştırmada inceleme konusu yapılan derlenmiş masalların konu, kahraman, ileti ve temel eğitim ilkeleri açısından çocukların anlam evrenine uygun olmayan özellikler taşıdığı, dil ve anlatım açısından ise çocuğa göre özellikler taşıdığı belirlenmiştir. Kurgulanmış masalların ise çocuk gerçekliğine uygun bir anlayışla oluşturulduğu, değişkenlerin çocuğa görelik ilkesine bağlı kalınarak yapılandırılmaya çalışıldığı görülmüştür. Anahtar Sözcükler: Derlenmiş Masal, Kurgulanmış Masal, çocuk, çocuk gerçekliği, çocuğa görelik In this research, it is aimed to analyze the elements (theme, character, message, language and expression, basic education principles) of compiled tales and the fictionalized tales in terms of child relativity. The research was carried out based on document analyzing; descriptive analysis method was used for the resolution of the data. The principles of the tales that are going to be presented to the children were structured within the context of "relation to child"; subcategories of this concept were described on the basis of literature. Tales which are the subjects of this research were approached under the five topics such as theme, character, message, language and expression and basis education principles. In accordance with the data gained through analysis, these results were achieved. It was stated that compiled tales have characteristics that are unsuitable for the children's universe of meaning in terms of theme, character, message and basic education principles; however, they have suitable characteristics in terms of language and expression. On the other hand, it was seen that fictionalized tales are composed with an understanding in accordance with the reality of the child, and are tried to be structured on the basis of relation to child principle.
