Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the effects of relative humidity (normal, high and low) during the first week of incubation on hatchability and performance of broiler. Hatching eggs were obtained from Ross at 52 weeks of age. A total of 1200 hatching eggs were used for this trial. During the first week of incubation, this trial has 3 different level of humidity groups, 55% Control Humidity Group (C.H.G), 70% High Humidity Group (H.H.G) and 43% Low Humidity Group (L.H.G), that studies the effect of humidity on hatchability and broiler performance. In the result of trial, between 0?18 days, the weight loss in (H.H.G) is lower than the other groups. (P<0.01). In early and middle embryonic mortality, the difference between 3 groups we not found important but it is confirmed that late embryo mortality in (C.H.G) was significatly higher than (H.H.G) and (L.H.G).The difference of humidity groups has no effect on hatchability of fertile eggs, body weight of broiler( at 42 d), feed conversion natio and livability. Finally, relative humidity during the first week of incubation have no significat effect on hatchability and broiler performance.
