The seals which were found in the systematic excavations and purchasing by some museums were studied in this thesis named "Late Assyrian and Babylonian seals from Anatolia in the First millennium BC". It was examined 130 seals which were dated to the Late Assyrian and Babylonian seals in this thesis. The majority of seals in question is imported to Anatolia in accordance with relationship between Late Assyrian and Babylonian States in this First Millennium BC. Assyrian seals began to be seen with the economic and political relations between Assyrian and Anatolia. They were found especially in the southeastern Turkey where is regional sovereignty of Assyrian in the Late Assyrian Period. In this period it was seen the intense used of cylinder seals. Use of the Late Assyrian seals was ended in Anatolia after the collapse of Assyrian and during rise of Late Babylonian State. The use of Late Babylonian seals increased with the Anatolian policy of the Late Babylonian State. It is observed that the use of cylinder seals decreased in the Late Babylonian Period, increase in the use of conoid stamp seals in Anatolia.
