Özet
This study examines the relations between Russia and China after the Cold War. In this sense, the study aims to understand the relations between two states, their attitudes in the international politics and the reactions to the developments in the period that called `New World Order?, after the collapse of the Eastern Bloc and the USSR, when the USA has remained as the only super power.Within the context of the study, Russia and China?s adaptation to the changing world conditions and the nature of the relations between them, are tried to be evaluated. The study includes three chapters. In the first chapter, the factors are emphasized that converged two countries towards each other. In the second chapter, the process towards the declaration of the Strategic Partnership and the foundation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) are examined and the functions of the organization and the perceptions of Russia and China concerning the Central Asia and the SCO are analyzed. In the third chapter, basic subjects in the framework of strategic partnership and factors that limiting the collaboration are eloborated.
