Sosyal yardım ve inceleme görevlilerinin sosyal yardım alanına ilişkin görüşleri ve kanıta dayalı uygulama ile ilişkisi
Abstract
This research has been done in an effort to reveal the views of social assistance and review officers on social assistance area and their links with evidence-based practices. Evidence-based practice has been carried out in recent years. The survey sheet created by the researcher has been conducted amongst 349 Social Assistance and Review Officers by predicating on Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) Level 1. SPSS has been used for data entry, analysis and classification. Research findings have been showed on figures and in tabular forms by calculating numeric and percent values. Chi-square test has been applied in order to show whether there is a statistically significant difference between variables or not and to test the significance level. Research results have been discussed in the light of literature review and the views of social assistance and review officers on evidence-based practices have been touched upon. Evidence-based practice has a great importance in terms of deployment of resources in policy making and determining needy individuals. Survey participants expressed that researches should be done on the basis of evidences. They also declared that they act on their observations while investigating, follow scientific researches and do periodic researches in their service areas. Evidence-based policies attribute importance to national researches and require making use of one's experiences. As a result of this research, suggestions about social assistance and evidence-based practices have offered.
