Abstract
In this study, the perceptions related with the father's role of adults and fathers whose dispute levels are high and low with their fathers were compared. The samples of the study consisted of 76 high school students which 45 were girls and 31 were boys, between 15-17 years old being educated in different high schools located in city center of Bilecik and their fathers. These 76 students are the adolescents who got points below and over average as a result of implementing fathers form of Young-Parents Dispute Measurement, on 280 students seleted randomly. The ones below the average, consist the group whose conflict level with their fathers are low, the ones above the average, consist the group whose struggle level with their fathers are high. Later on Perception Measurement for Father's Role (PMFR), developed by the surveyor was applied on these adolescents and their fathers. In order to indicate whether the difference between the perceptions related father's role of fathers and of adolescents whose conflict levels with their fathers are high and low, are meaningful or not, double directional variance analysis (2x2 design) was performed. The results of the PMFR score shows a significant difference bettween the adolescents and the fathers of that group. The adolecent's score was found greater than the father's score. There is also a significant difference between the group who had conflict with each other and the group who hadn't conflict with each other. Otherwise, it is determined that the levelIX of conflict either becomes high or low do not differentiate according to being father or young.
